Start Lawn Service This Week in Athens, Alabama

Yes, you can get on the schedule this week. Call Turf Haven at 256-938-7188, we measure your lawn, and you go on the next route that comes through your part of Limestone or Morgan County. Lawn treatment starts at $49 a visit. No contract to sign before anybody looks at the yard.

What happens after you call

  1. You tell us the address. That is the whole intake. We measure the lawn from the address instead of guessing at it over the phone.
  2. You get the real price. Not a range, not a “starting at” you have to negotiate down from later. The number we give you is the number on the invoice.
  3. You go on a route. Joseph runs routes through Athens, Decatur, Madison, Priceville, Tanner and Hartselle. You get slotted into the next one with room in your area.
  4. Joseph calls before he comes out. Every visit, not just the first one. You are not sitting home all day waiting on a truck, and you are not finding a door hanger from a visit you did not know about.

What “this week” actually means

It means we can have you priced and on a route this week. The day the truck shows up depends on which route your street falls on, and Joseph will tell you that day when he calls ahead. Anybody promising you a specific hour on a specific afternoon before they have seen your address is guessing.

The program you are starting

Lawn treatment is eight visits a year, roughly one every six weeks through the growing season. Weed control, fertilization and soil enrichment on every visit. Free unlimited service calls in between, so if weeds come back before the next scheduled visit, you call and we come back out. There is no second invoice for that.

Starting mid-season is normal. You pick up the program where the calendar is, and the visits run from there. Nothing about starting in July instead of March costs you extra.

What you need to have ready

  • The service address.
  • A gate code, if the backyard is locked.
  • Whether you have a dog. The products are biological and safe around pets and kids, but we will still tell you when it is fine to let them back out.
  • Anything you already know is wrong out there — bare patches, an ant problem, a section that never greens up. It changes what goes down on the first visit.

When you can reach us

We answer the phone Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm, and we are closed Saturday and Sunday. Visits get scheduled between 8:00am and 4:00pm on weekdays. If you call outside those hours, leave a message with your address and we will call you back the next business morning.

Where we can start you this week

Athens, Decatur, Madison, Priceville, Tanner and Hartselle, Alabama. Athens is home, so those routes run most often. If you are not sure your address is in range, ask and we will tell you straight instead of taking the call and figuring it out later.

Common questions

Can I really start lawn treatment this week in Athens, AL?

Yes. Call 256-938-7188 with your address and we can price it and get you on a route the same week. The exact visit day depends on which route covers your street.

Do I have to sign a contract to start?

No. You get a price for your lawn, and you decide. There is no lump-sum prepay to float before the first visit.

How soon after I sign up is the first treatment?

It is the next time a route runs through your area with room on it. Joseph calls or messages ahead of that visit to make sure it works for you.

Is it too late in the year to start?

No. The eight visits run on a six-week cycle and you join it where it is. A lawn that starts late still gets the full program, it just starts counting from your first visit.

What does it cost to start?

Lawn treatment starts at $49 a visit for a smaller lawn. Larger lawns cost more because the price follows square footage. Full breakdown on our lawn treatment cost page.

What we do not do: What we cannot start this week is mowing, because we do not do it. Lawn treatment, pest, mosquito and fire ants are the list.
