If you have something in the house right now, you do not need a sales process. You need a day. Turf Haven runs routes across Athens and Limestone County every weekday, and the honest version of “this week” is this: we will tell you on the phone whether we can get to you and which day, before you agree to anything.

What we can actually promise

We are not going to claim same-day, because same-day depends on where the truck already is. What we will do:

• Answer the phone or call you back the same business day. 256-938-7188.
• Give you a real day, not a range. If the soonest is Thursday, we say Thursday.
• Price it before we come out. Pest control starts at $45 a visit. You will know the number on the call.
• Tell you if it is not us. Termites, bed bugs and wildlife are not what we do, and sending you somewhere else on Monday beats wasting your Thursday.

Office hours are 7:30am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. Appointments book between 8:00am and 4:00pm. Closed Saturday and Sunday, so a Friday afternoon call gets scheduled for the following week unless there is room left in the day.

What speeds it up when you call

Three things, and they take ten seconds each:

• What you are seeing and where. Kitchen, bathroom, garage, along the baseboard, coming from outside. Location tells us more than the bug does.
• How long. Two days is a different problem than two months.
• Your address. It decides which route day you land on, which is the actual answer to how fast.

What the first visit covers

Perimeter treatment on the outside of the house, which is the foundation line, door thresholds, window frames, weep holes and eaves. That is where almost everything gets in. Inside gets treated where the activity is, targeted rather than blanket.

Then the program picks it up on a schedule, eight visits a year, roughly every six weeks, because one treatment handles what is here now and the schedule is what keeps the next wave out. Pricing on the pest control cost page.

What we do not handle

Straight answer so you do not lose two days: termites, bed bugs and wildlife removal are not our services. Fire ants are, and they have their own page. Mosquitoes are, and so are ants, roaches, spiders and the general run of household pests around the outside of the house.

Common questions

Can you come out today?

Sometimes, if there is room on the route and you are on it. Call and we will tell you honestly rather than booking you and calling back to move it.

Do I have to be home?

Not for the outside treatment. If anything inside needs attention, somebody has to let us in.

How long until it works?

Activity usually drops off within a few days, and you may see more of them for a day or two first as they move. That is normal. If it has not settled down, call and we come back at no charge.

Do I have to sign up for a program to get one visit?

No. Ask for a single treatment and you get a single treatment. We will tell you what the program costs and then let you decide.
