What Lawn Treatment Costs in Athens, Alabama

Lawn treatment in Athens, Alabama starts at $49 a visit. The program runs eight visits a year, so a smaller Limestone County lawn lands around $392 for the season. That is the answer. The rest of this page is what moves the number, and what to ask any company that will not give you one.

Starting price means the smallest lawns. Yours depends on the yard.

Each of those has its own page with the full breakdown: pest control cost, mosquito control cost per year, fire ant treatment cost and lawn aeration cost.

What a full year runs

Eight visits at the starting rate is $392 for the year on lawn treatment. Add mosquito for the season and you are at $942. Add fire ants and it is $1,040. A bigger lawn moves all of those up, which is why we measure before we quote instead of reading you a range over the phone.

What actually changes the price

Lawn size

Measured, not eyeballed. Product cost scales with square footage and nothing else scales as hard.

What shape it is in on day one

A lawn nobody has treated in three years needs more work on the first couple of visits than one that was on a program last year. That is a real difference and any honest company will tell you about it before the first invoice, not after.

What you add to it

Mosquito, fire ant and aeration are separate programs with their own prices. Nothing is bundled into the lawn number that you did not ask for.

What is not in the price

Mowing. Turf Haven treats lawns in Athens and across Limestone and Morgan Counties, we do not cut them. If you are comparing us against a company that mows, you are comparing two different things, and the mowing quote is going to look bigger because it is a weekly visit instead of eight a year.

What to ask before you pay anybody

  • Get the per-visit price and the number of visits in the same sentence. A $35 visit twelve times a year costs more than a $49 visit eight times. The low number in the ad is usually the one with more visits behind it.
  • Ask what happens when weeds come back between visits. Ours is free and unlimited service calls. Call us, we come back out, there is no second invoice.
  • Ask whether they measured your lawn. A price given before anybody looked at the yard is a price that changes later.
  • Ask what is in the product if you have a dog. We use biological products that are safe around pets and kids, and we will tell you the re-entry window without being asked twice.
